Program Overview

The Montessori Casa One Program builds foundational coordination and independence through structured Dance or Yoga classes. Sessions follow a consistent format that supports focus, participation, and skill progression.

Both Dance and Yoga are curriculum-based and designed to develop balance, sequencing ability, and early concentration skills appropriate for this age.

Class Length: 30 Minutes | Frequency: Weekly, Bi-Weekly, monthly.

Class Layout

Welcome Circle

Greetings, expectations, and settling into focus.

Warm-up & Stretching

Dynamic, full-body preparation to develop flexibility and coordination.

Movement

  • Dance: Guided movement that builds rhythm recognition, spatial awareness, and motor planing through structure repetition.

  • Yoga: Foundational poses and short flows that develop balance, strength, posture awareness, and controlled transitions.

Both options are presented progressively to encourage independence.

Purposeful Activity:

Skill-reinforcement activities promoting cooperation and focus.

Cool Down

Structured transition to calm and regulation.

Cleanup

Student participate in restoring the environment.

Goodbyes

Consistent closing routine.
