Program Overview
School-Age classes are engaging, structured sessions designed to build coordination, confidence, and physical literacy. Children participate in Dance or Yoga, interactive games, and skill-building activities that develop focus, strength, and teamwork. Classes are tailored to be fun, age-appropriate, and supportive of each child’s growth.

Greetings, review of class expectations, and settling students into the session
Establishes routine and prepares the children to focus and participate
Warm-up & Stretching
Dynamic stretches and full body movement prepare the for active participation.
Engages students while promoting flexibility, balance and body awareness.
Movement
Dance Option
Guided sequences to reinforce rhythm, coordination and spatial awareness.
Activities build confidence and physical skills using simple choreography and props where appropriate.
Focus on skill-building rather than performance-level choreography.
Yoga Option
Flows and sequences designed to develop strength, balance, and focus.
Mindful movement exercises help children improve posture, coordination, and self-regulation.
Age-appropriate instruction ensures safety and engagement.
Games
Games reinforce skills from the Movement portion while fostering teamwork, cooperation, and social interaction.
Examples; partner exercises, group rhythm challenges, and skill-based movement games.
Cool Down
Gentle stretching and calming activities to transition students back into a focused, reflective state.
Supports emotional regulation and prepares students for closure.
Clean-up & Goodbyes
Students help put away props and tidy space, reinforcing responsibility and routine.
Short closing reflection or group acknowledgement to end class positively.
Encourages a sense of accomplishment and consistency.
